For everything you meant to come back to

Everything you saved, actually readable.

Share a video to Postfolio. A minute later it’s a page — the ingredients, the steps, the part you actually wanted — filed in a folder and still findable in six weeks, when you finally get round to cooking it.

In beta on iOS and Android. Ten saves a month are free — no card up front, and no trial to remember to cancel.

The problem

Saving is easy. Getting it back is the hard part.

Everyone has a few hundred saved posts they will never open again. Not because they stopped caring — because there is no way back in.

You can’t search inside a video.
You remember the anchovies. You remember it was a woman in a green kitchen. The app remembers none of that, so you scroll.
Collections only work if you maintain them.
Nobody maintains them. Two weeks in it’s one endless list again, sorted by the day you happened to save it.
And then things disappear.
Accounts go private, posts get taken down, and the save quietly stops working. You don’t find out until you need it.

How it works

Three taps, and then nothing to learn.

There is no dashboard to set up and no folders to plan. It works with the apps you already use, from the share button you already know.

  1. 1

    Share it.

Tap Share wherever you already are and pick Postfolio. It saves and gets out of the way — you stay in your feed and keep scrolling.

    Saved

    We’re reading it now.

Closes on its own. You never leave the app you were in.

  2. 2

    We read it.

About a minute later, it’s written down: the title, the ingredients, the steps, the numbers. Filed into a folder that fits — or one it makes for you.

  3. 3

    Ask for it later.

Six weeks on, you don’t remember who posted it. Type what you do remember, in your own words, and it comes back.

What comes back

A page you can read, not a paragraph about the video.

A recipe comes back as quantities and steps. A workout comes back as exercises, sets and form cues. A trip comes back as places and what they cost. Same product, different shape — because the shape is the useful part.

  • It never invents a number.

If the quantity wasn’t said, it isn’t there. Four real ingredients beat eight confident guesses.

  • Everything is editable.

Wrong step, clumsy title, wrong folder — tap it and fix it. Two taps, and it stays fixed.

  • It writes in your language.

English, Portuguese, Spanish or French, whatever the video was in.

  • The original stays with it.

The post’s own caption and the full transcript are kept beside the summary, each on its own tab — for when the exact wording is the point.

Organisation

Folders that make themselves.

You don’t file anything. Folders appear as you save, named the way you’d name them, and things go where they belong.

When it isn’t sure, it says so rather than guessing — anything ambiguous waits in your Inbox until you give it a home. And nothing is ever reorganised behind your back.

Finding things

You won’t remember the words. That’s fine.

Search runs over everything we wrote down — the ingredients, the steps, the places, the tips. Not the caption, not the hashtags. The actual content of the thing you saved.

Find — free

Type what you remember, in your own words, and it finds the save even when none of the words match. Keyword search works with no signal at all, because your library lives on your phone.

Ask — Pro

Ask a real question and get a real answer, written from your own saves, with the sources underneath so you can open them. The first answer is free.

What can I cook with chicken?

Answer

Three from your library. The lemon-butter traybake is the quickest — 25 minutes, one tin, and you already have everything except the crème fraîche.

Works with your AI

Ask ChatGPT about everything you saved.

Connect Postfolio to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity and your library becomes something they can read. Ask for the lemon chicken you saved in March, a week of workouts from your gym reels, or what that one video said about sleep — the answer comes from your own saves, with a link to each.

How to connect

Why it keeps working

Built to still be useful in two years.

Works with no signal.

Your library is on your phone, not behind a loading spinner. In a kitchen with one bar, in a gym basement with none, it opens instantly.

Outlives the original.

If the post gets deleted or the account goes private, what we wrote down is still yours. We keep the link too — it just tells you honestly that it’s gone.

Your saves stay yours.

We never read your library to train anything, and we never sell it. Processing runs on providers under zero-retention terms, and we say exactly who they are.

Pricing

Ten free saves a month. Then it’s about the price of a coffee.

No free trial, because there’s nothing to cancel. Every month, ten saves are read for free — no card, no countdown, no reminder in your calendar.

Free

10 saves

a month, every month

Enough to see it work on your own things, and enough to keep using it if you save a few a week — the folders appear on their own around the fifth.

  • Ten saves a month, read and filed properly
  • As many folders as you end up with
  • Search by meaning and by keyword, across everything
  • Your library stays readable forever, even after the tenth

Prices are set per country — in Brazil, Pro is R$ 9,90 a month or R$ 94,90 a year. Subscriptions are billed by the App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled there at any time. A save that we couldn’t read never counts against your ten.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Anything else, just write to us. A person answers.

What can I save to Postfolio?

Posts, Reels and Shorts from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter) and Threads, plus articles and blog recipes. If we can’t read something, you keep the link, the thumbnail and your own notes — and it doesn’t count against your free saves.

Do you download or re-post the video?

No. We read what’s in it, write the useful part down in our own words, and always link back to the original. We don’t host the video, we don’t re-publish it, and there is no download button — Postfolio is an index of the things you saved, not a copy of them.

What happens when the original post gets deleted?

Your page stays exactly as it was. That’s most of the reason this exists: accounts go private and posts come down, but the ingredients, steps and notes we wrote for you are stored with your account. The card simply tells you the original is no longer available.

Does it work without a connection?

Yes. Your whole library lives on your phone, so browsing, reading, editing and keyword search work with no signal at all. Three things need a connection: reading a newly shared post, search by meaning, and Ask. If you share something while offline, it’s queued and processed as soon as you’re back.

Do you train AI on my saved content?

No. To produce a summary, the link you shared is processed by our extraction and language-model providers under zero-retention, no-training terms. Nothing in your library is used to train models, and we don’t read your saves to improve the product. Our privacy policy names exactly which providers are involved.

What language will my summaries be in?

Yours. Postfolio launches in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French, and it writes in the language you picked regardless of the language of the original — so an English cooking video comes back as a Portuguese recipe if that’s what you set.

What happens after my ten free saves in a month?

Nothing you already have is taken away. Your library stays fully readable, searchable, editable and yours, forever. Anything you share after the tenth is held rather than lost: it’s read at the start of next month, against the new ten — or right away, the moment you go Pro.

Do you keep the original text?

Yes. Beside the summary, every save keeps the post’s own caption and the full transcript, each on its own tab. The summary is for skimming and finding; the original is there when the exact wording matters.

How accurate are the summaries?

Good, and honest about the rest. It’s built never to invent a quantity or a step that wasn’t in the post — four real ingredients rather than eight confident guesses — and when it isn’t sure where something belongs it puts it in your Inbox instead of guessing. Every field is editable, and your edits are never overwritten.

How do I cancel Pro?

In the App Store or Google Play, in two taps, whenever you like. There’s no cancellation flow and no retention offer. If you cancel you keep every save you made — you simply go back to the free rules.

Can I use my library in ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, with Pro. Postfolio has an MCP server, so ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and other assistants can search and read your saves when you ask them something. It’s read-only — they can’t change or delete anything — and you connect it by picking Postfolio in your assistant’s apps and signing in with your email. The steps are at app-postfolio.com/mcp.

When can I get it?

Postfolio is in beta on iOS and Android. Ask for early access and we’ll email you an invite — one email about that, not a newsletter.
